I am here for the first time - Registration

  1. Click the Pay the parking fee icon.
  2. A page with payment application opens.
  3. a) Your mobile phone location services (GPS) are disabled:
    Enter the code of the parking zone in which you are currently parking into the "Section number" field located in the "Manual entry" section. You can find the parking zone code on the sticker located on the pay-and-display machine. It is in the right hand bottom corner of the sticker (for example LB42).

    b) Your mobile phone location services (GPS) are activated:
    In this case you can search for the parking zone automatically. Use the "Nearest sections of parking zones" item. The system selects the nearest parking zones based on your current location and displays them in a form of a list. Please select a parking zone from the list. You can find the parking zone code on the sticker located on the pay-and-display machine. It is in the right hand bottom corner of the sticker (for example LB42).
  4. If you click the "Set registration number" button the system allows you to enter up to three registration numbers of cars for which you can pay the parking fee. Once you have entered the registration numbers, click the "Save" button. Entering at least one registration number is mandatory.
  5. Choose the registration number of the car which is currently parked and desired parking period
  6. In the "Payment method" tab select whether you want to pay by payment card or CCS card. Confirm by clicking the "Continue" button.
  7. Click the "Enter card data" and enter all the required data regarding your payment card. Chose a password and remember it. With this password, you will be able to confirm every future parking fee payment. Once you have entered the card data and password confirm with the "Save" button.
  8. Enter an email address to which you will receive your payment confirmation and a tax document together with a security password that you selected in the last step. Then click on the "Pay with card" button.

    If you wish to only prepare the registration from the comfort of your home, without yet paying the parking fee, leave out the last step - do not click the "Pay with card" button. Thus the entered data will remain saved in your device but the payment for the parking fee will not be deducted.

Does it mean that payment with coins will not be possible any more? No, not at all. We have just brought an alternative - a more convenient method of parking fee payment in Liberec. The pay-and-display machines will remain in operation. It is only up to you which payment method you choose.
Is it not going to be more expensive than payment at the pay-and-display machine? You don't need to worry. The parking rates in the parking.liberec.cz system are the same as the rates at the pay-and-display machines. You will not pay a single crown more. On the contrary. In some cases you may even save money. You will be no longer compelled to choose the parking period on the basis of the coin which you currently have in your pocket. You will be able to choose the parking period which best suits your needs.
And where is my pay-and-display ticket? If you pay via the parking.liberec.cz system, the pay-and-display ticket will no longer be necessary. The data regarding parking place, parking period (expiration) and car registration number are sent online to the local Municipal Police office n Liberec. They can immediately see that your parking fee has been paid without any ticket displayed behind your windscreen.
I need a receipt for my accounting. Where will I get it? As soon as you pay via the parking.liberec.cz system and the sum is transferred from your payment card, an e-mail is automatically generated. This e-mail contains parking confirmation as well as a tax document.
I use more than one car but I want to pay from one phone only. Is it possible? Yes, of course. When you enter the system for the first time (registration), you can choose up to three car registration numbers. Later, you will see these registration numbers in a list from which you can easily select the registration number of the car which you currently wish to park.
Which types of payment cards may I use to carry out payment? Visa, Mastercard, CCS.
Are my personal data and payment card data safe? We put a lot of effort in providing data security. First of all, we want to make clear that the parking.liberec.cz payment system does not collect any personal data. Moreover, all data which we use (such as payment card data or your email address) are saved on your device exclusively. And they are saved there in a securely encrypted manner. We do not collect these data on our servers and no data leaking through the Internet is possible.
If the data are on my device only, what happens if my phone or tablet gets stolen? You can remain calm even in such case. All data saved on your device are encrypted and therefore unusable for any third party. It is also impossible to use your device for an unauthorised parking fee payment without the password which you set up when you registered into the system. Therefore, it is advisable to keep the password at a location away from the device.
Can I extend the parking period above the prepaid duration? Yes, this convenient function is a part of the system.
